Those looking to fiesta this weekend are in luck. Here are some of the best spots to celebrate Cinco de Mayo in Philadelphia in 2025.

Cantina la Martina

Cantina la Martina is celebrating all day on May 5. From 11 a.m. to 3 p.m., a special lunch buffet will be in full swing ($20 per person), and then from 4 to 10 p.m., Cantina’s Cinco de Mayo party will take over the venue. The evening festivities will feature different food and drink specials, kids activities (think face painting and balloon making), a DJ, Robot Dancers (at 9:30 p.m.), plus, the Winner of Cantina la Martina’s passport to Mexico contest will be announced at 9 p.m.

Everything is pay-as-you-go (walk-ins only, no reservations). Note that the regular à la carte menu will not be available for the party. Cantina’s sister spots, La Baja and Cantina la Martina at Human Robot Jenkintown, will also throw their own Cinco festivities. As a release notes, La Baja has a special tasting menu dinner happening on Sunday, May 4 (they are closed on Mondays), and the Human Robot location has a party planned with a DJ. Sor Ynez

Sor Ynez’s celebrations will take place on Friday, May 2 and Saturday, May 3. Live music will be provided by Magdaliz and Her Latin Ensemble CRISOL, plus, classically prepared Mexican dishes will be available from executive chef Alex Tellez. Locals can bring their whole family to the occasion as well—a kids’ corner will be on site with plant and take seeds and games like Connect Four and Jenga. Reservations are available via Resy.

Bluebird Distilling and El Chingón

Bluebird is commemorating Cinco de Mayo in Philadelphia with a pop-up at El Chingón on Sunday, May 4. From noon to 8 p.m., margaritas will be poured, live entertainment in full swing and Mexcian food specials will be served up. Additionally, Bluebird Distilling will have Agave Spirits on-site available for purchase.

LMNO

LMNO will have plenty of opportunities for locals to celebrate Cinco de Mayo in Philadelphia. First on Friday (May 2), the LMNO x Red Bull Cinco Weekend Party featuring DJ Dommis and The Bruce will be in full swing on the venue’s patio (7 to 11 p.m., no tickets needed.) The next day (May 3), the venue is partnering up with the Fishtown Music and Arts Festival to shut down Front and Palmer streets for a full day of DJ sets and satellite bars (noon to 11:30 p.m., $25 tickets are available via Eventbrite).

A DJ will also be on site on Sunday (May 4) from 1 to 6 p.m., and on Monday (May 5) from 5 to 11 p.m. Reservations are available online.

Locals can celebrate Cinco de Mayo in Philadelphia by indulging in a one-day-only menu at Keating’s. The waterside locale is serving up Tropical Shrimp Tacos, a Charred Mexican Street Corn Flatbread, a Fajita Quesadilla, and a Blood Orange Margarita with Casamigos Reposado, sour, blood orange juice, and Cointreau.

Those planning on celebrating the holiday in the Philly suburbs are in luck with Paladar. The Latin Kitchen will be throwing a celebration on Saturday (May 3) and Sunday (May 4) with $4 select Mexican beers, $5 tequila shots,$6 (traditional and flavored) Margaritas, and $3.50 street tacos (on the venue’s patio). A DJ will also be on-site to provide live music.

The locale is offering a Pantalones Tequila special, plus, free tacos with the purchase of their Organic Margarita (noon to 2 p.m.) on Friday, May 2. The next two days (May 3-4), the venue is offering a $15 Beer and Shot combo, $5 Pomegranate Jello Shots and different taco specials. Monday, May 5, Rosa will host an all-day celebration with entertainment and raffle prizes, but locals can also celebrate the next day (May 6) with select $5 Margaritas and 50% off all tacos.
