You’ve seen the look all over Hollywood’s glitterati as of late; soft, beachy curls that tumble down over your shoulders a la Rapunzel. It’s a perfect holiday look that your stylist can easily help you achieve, if you can get there. But who has the time or the funds to keep running back and forth to the salon with everything else you’ve got going on? Lucky for you, I’ve discovered a way to create the look at home courtesy of the SinglePass Whirl professional styling wand from T3.

The tourmaline charged tool goes beyond your old-school curling iron. There’s no clip to kink up your hair while curling. Instead, you wrap your hair around the barrel (wearing the included heat resistant glove to avoid burns for the accident prone, like myself) and simply slide the wand out to reveal a luscious curl. The ceramic base heats hair from the inside out to maintain hair’s moisture, leaving your curls shiny and smooth. You can also adjust the heat depending on your hair type. I suggest playing with the settings to determine the appropriate amount of heat for you.

The curl holds amazingly well, too and with my super-straight hair, that’s pretty impressive. But don’t take my word for it, pick one up and try it for yourself. Better yet, add it to your holiday wish list!
