Center City District Restaurant Week kicks off this Sunday for its first iteration in 2024. And if you’re looking to narrow down your selection, we’ve got some choices for you.

The Twisted Tail

Philadelphians can indulge in the culinary activation by heading to this Southern comfort food and whiskey-adorned hotspot. Highlights of the CCDRW menu span shishito peppers as a first course, BBQ smoked ribs as a second, and crispy fried chicken drizzled with rosemary honey and served with sweet potato fries. Dessert options include chocolate crepe cake, caramel budino, and bourbon pineapple upside down cake.

Visitors can try it all for $45 and pair it with some hand-crafted cocktails while at The Twisted Tail.

Options span boquerones made with white anchovy, salsa verde, guindilla pepper, and cipollini onion, patatas bravas seasoned with spicy tomato sauce, manchego, saffron aioli, and Fresno chili, a Wood Fired NY Strip with roasted peppers, green onion, and salsa verde, and the venue’s signature basque style cheesecake garnished with tart cherry and a pretzel crumble.

Buddakan will also be serving up a specialty cocktail for the occasion—the Gold Rush is made with Makers Mark 46, honey and lemon.

Highlights include oysters, New England clam chowder, Maryland crab cakes and their fan-favorite tuna crudo. On top of it all, the venue has also decided to bring back their warm lobster rolls for a limited amount of time.

The Restaurant Week menu will be available Tuesdays through Fridays from Jan. 23 to Feb. 2.
