Charlie Sheen doesn’t much care for Mitch Williams

Much was made of Charlie Sheen’s I-used-steroids admission, in a Sports Illustrated “Where are they now?” issue piece about the cast of Major League. But also in that oral-history article was a comment by the Tiger-Blooded Warlock about former Phillies closer, Mitch Williams.

Specifically, Sheen — who played Ricky “Wild Thing” Vaughn in the sports-comedy classic — was none too happy with Williams co-opting his schtick.

“Mitch Williams, that f—— guy never gave me credit. Come on, dude; you’re coming out to the Wild Thing song. … You changed your number. … Can I get a little nod?”

Not sure when this interview was conducted in respect to the Sheen’s whole #winning timeline of late, but he does have a point, doesn’t he? Of course, Vaughn wasn’t on the #losing end of a Joe Carter bat.
