True foodies know that Philadelphia is one of the premier food cities the country has to offer.

After a successful inaugural event in 2024, The Chef Conference returns to Philadelphia, inviting award-winning restaurateurs and chefs, emerging culinary talents and top food media for exciting dinner collaborations, insightful panels and more. Open to the public, The Chef Conference is set to thrill whether you’re a career chef, restaurateur, or simply a food lover.

Running from April 4 to 7, The Chef Conference will include ticketed one-night-only collaborative meals featuring a blend of acclaimed Philadelphia restaurants and nationally acclaimed chefs from New York, Chicago, Miami, and beyond.

Among the host locations featured will be Irwin’s, Royal Sushi & Izakaya, Kalaya in Northern Liberties and the star-studded lineup of guest chefs from acclaimed spots such as Acamaya (New Orleans), Animae (San Diego) and Tâm Tâm (Miami).

Chef Jesse Ito owns and operates Royal Sushi & Izakaya in Philadelphia. In the back of the barroom, Ito personally serves a refined omakase.Visit Philadelphia

Those looking to enjoy these collaborative dinners will be glad to know that they are open to the public. However, seating is extremely limited, so securing tickets sooner rather than later is recommended.

In addition to the collaborative dinners, the 2025 Chef Conference will host discussion panels led by some of the industry’s most respected names. These panels will feature speakers from chefs, restauranteurs, journalists, cookbook authors, policy professionals, and lawyers and discuss a variety of topics, including menu development, exploring culture through cookbooks, navigating disaster, and more.

Emmy-winner and four-time James Beard Award-winning chef Andrew Zimmern, James Beard Award-winning chef and cookbook author Alexander Smalls, James Beard Award-winning chef Michael Solomonov, Top Chef host Tom Coliccio, editor-in-chief of Bon Appétit Jamila Robinson, and many more will all contribute to these panels.

New to the conference this year, Denmark’s three-Michelin-starred restaurant Noma is set to collaborate with notable restaurants around Philly and give attendees and local diners a taste of the iconic restaurant and the innovative ingredients and products that the test kitchen and fermentation lab have created.
