The School District of Philadelphia announced that school and administrative offices will re-open Wednesday on a normal schedule.
The Archdiocese of Philadelphia will also re-open high schools and parish schools in the city, although the decision on suburban schools will be made by local officials.
The school district said it anticipates that some yellow school bus service may be delayed in the morning as buses deal with road conditions. Minor damages, including flooding, were reported at some schools, but not enough to remain closed, district spokesman Fernando Gallard said.
“The review of the properties so far are [showing] that there are minor repairs [needed],” Gallard said, although he could not provide details on which schools were damaged.
