The young daughter of a woman seen on viral video traveling on a SEPTA bus while extremely inebriated has been removed from her home.
Police confirmed that DHS officials removed the girl from the home over the weekend after the video made the rounds on social media, the Daily News reported.
The mother, 26, who has not been identified publicly, is seen on the nearly five-minute video almost unconscious and likely inebriated while riding a Route 66 SEPTA bus.
Her young daughter tries to push her head up, pleads with her to wake up, and tells her to move her bag out of the aisle when another passenger tries to get by in the video. No adults interfere or say anything during the video.
SEPTA Police Chief Thomas J. Nestel referred to the mother as doing “the heroin nod” in the video.
