City’s RDA official replaced

CITY HALL – Mayor Michael Nutter has appointed the former director of the Redevelopment Authority to head up the city’s legislative efforts in Washington, D.C.

Terry Gillen, Nutter’s senior economic advisor, will be replaced at the RDA by Ed Covington, who previously served as senior vice president of Wachovia. Covington’s annual salary will be $175,000, while Gillen will make $155,000.
