Cocktails inspired by the Philadelphia Flower Show

The Philadelphia Flower Show is in full bloom at the Pennsylvania Convention Center. Need a cocktail to warm you up before or after you stroll through the 10 luscious acres of artfully designed flora? Liberte Lounge in the Sofitel (120 S. 17th St.)concocted a list of Flower Show inspired drinks using a mix of botanical ingredients and light flavors like sage and lavender. Val’s Garden, Rose 75, The Orchid, Hibiscus Daisy and Hearts of Honey are all available until March 9.

Local craft spirit maker Art In the Age is also getting into the spirit of spring with Flower Show libations available at three restaurants. This week, order a Bartram’s Blackberry Lemonade, made with Art in the Age’s Rhubarb Tea, or a lavender cup made with AITA’s Sageat Revolution House (200 Market St.), Jones (700 Chestnut St.) or Smokin’ Betty’s (116 S. 11th St.).
