The Pixies at The Fillmore
Rock legends, the Pixies, are back on tour, venturing across North America after the release of their latest album, ‘The Night The Zombies Came’. At each stop, including their upcoming show in Philadelphia, the band will play the entire ‘Bossanova’ and ‘Trompe Le Monde’ albums during Tuesday night’s show, and then feature the new album alongside plenty of the band’s classics on Wednesday night. The Pixies will play the Fillmore on Tuesday, July 22, and Wednesday, July 23, and doors open at 7 p.m.

Iron & Wine at the Keswick Theatre
Known for his intimate and introspective indie folk sound, Samuel Beam, known on stage as Iron & Wine, is coming to the Keswick Theatre this Thursday, July 24, alongside I’m with Her, as part of their Robin’s Egg Tour. Following the release of their new joint single by the same name, the two groups bring a miniature folk fest to the stage in Glenside to celebrate their new collaborative track. Doors open at 6:30 p.m.

Nas at The Mann Center
One of the most important names etched in rap history is coming to Philly this week, reintroducing one of the most widely recognized rap albums ever heard. Joined by the Philadelphia Orchestra, Nas is bringing back his first full-length album, ‘Illmatic,’ as the two Grammy award-winning acts are set to thrill. From ‘The Genesis’ to ‘It Ain’t Hard to Tell,’ Illmatic is stacked with hit after hit and set up Nas to become one of the biggest the game ever knew.
