Cop killer given life in prison

Holding her young son outside a Philadelphia courthouse yesterday, an angry and tearful Kim Pawlowski said the fact that her husband’s killer wasn’t sentenced to die meant “Justice was not served.”

A deadlocked jury led to admitted cop killer Rasheed Scruggs being sentenced to life without parole. Jurors couldn’t agree on life-or-death.

“No matter what they said, nothing was going to give you back your husband,” Judge Renee Cardwell Hughes said.
