UNWANTED DEPOSIT: SUV slams into Philly bank
At least three occupants of a white SUV that slammed into a North Philadelphia bank fled on foot Thursday morning, police said.
The crash happened around 2 a.m. at the United Bank of America branch at Broad and Jefferson streets; a parked car was also hit and an ATM badly damaged.
The cash remained safely inside.
Cops are investigating whether the vehicle, which was speeding before the crash was stolen and don’t think it was robbery attempt.

STABBING: Man fatally stabbed in Upper Moreland home.
Local cops and MontCo prosecutors are investigating a fatal stabbing in Upper Moreland.
One man is in custody after the slaying inside a home on the 200 block of Newington Drive.
Names were not immediately released pending and an autopsy was being done Thursday.
CONSOLIDATION: 7 Chester police departments may regionalize.
The Local Daily News is reporting that seven Chester County municipalities may consolidate into one regional force..
The seven are Kennett Square, Kennett Township, New Garden, Avondale, London Grove, West Grove and East Marlborough.
“We’re past the dating stage, now we are moving into the let’s take this seriously stage,” said Kennett Square Mayor Matt Fetick. “This will be a big change for all of the municipalities.”
