Police were looking for two women who may have pickpocketed$8,200in Chinatown.
Investigators said the victim, a 56-year-old woman, made two cash withdrawals Oct. 22 around noon from abanknear 9th and Arch streets before sticking the money in her purse.
As the victim was walking west, near 11th and Arch, two women walked up next to her and engaged her in small talk, police said.

One of the suspects allegedly asked to see the victim’s purse, and the victim obliged. The suspect handed the purse back to the victim, who later discovered the cash was gone.
Police said the two suspects were both Asian women. At the time of the theft, one was wearing a flowered scarf, the other a jean jacket.
