Cops seek two men who took $42k from car

Philadelphia police are looking for two men who stole $42,000 from a vehicle in the city’s Fairhill section Friday around 11 a.m.

The victims, two men aged 63 and 29, were filling an ATM inside a corner grocery store on the 1100 block of West Allegheny.

Surveillance video captured images of two men using a rock to break the window of the 2006 Ford Escape that the men had parked on the street.

They took a black Jansport backpack with a white patch border. The cash was in various denominations.

Police say a black SUV, possibly a Suburban or Yukon, picked up the men near 12th and Indiana.
