Delaware State Police are looking for a woman who allegedly reached through a man’s car window Monday afternoon to rob him at knifepoint.
Investigators said the victim, 28, was sitting inside his car in the parking lot of Super Gas, located at 3006 New Castle Ave., shortly after 2 p.m.
As the man was trying to figure out where he was and how to get to his destination, a woman allegedly reached through his open driver’s side window.
Police said the woman held a knife to the man’s chest and grabbed his wallet from the car’s cup holder.
She then fled on foot.
The victim was not injured.
The suspect is described as a 5-foot-4-inch tall black female between the ages of 18 and 25 with an average build.
