As workers at a Delaware Chipotle were making burritos this weekend, two perps were allegedly making babies on the roof.

Police say a couple was arrested after numerous witnesses saw them having sex at the front of the roof of a Chipotle restaurant in Newark, Delaware.

Michael Suh, 38, and Nicole Germack, 27, both of Newark, were arrested on Saturday evening around 9:40 p.m.

The Chipotle branch was open at that time. Their hours are 11 a.m. to 10 p.m. every day. A manager at the Chipotle was not working on Saturday and said she did not know if employees or customers were bothered by the incident of public sex.

However, a Newark Police Department officer arrived at the Chipotle after receiving calls about the public sex.

The officer “clearly observed the two defendants engaging in sexual intercourse on the roof at the very front of the Chipotle building,” police said.

Even after the officer ordered them to stop, they “continued for approximately 15-20 seconds before stopping,” police said.

Suh and Germack then allegedly tried to flee from the roof into Suh’s apartment adjacent to the Chipotle.

Officers entered the apartment and arrested both suspects without any struggle.

Suh and Germack were charged with resisting arrest, lewdness, indecent exposure, loitering and conspiracy.

They were both released after posting an $1,800 bond.

It is unknown what drove the couple to use the roof, and whether extreme heat or a lack of air conditioning caused the incident.

Weather almanacs for Newark show the temperature was about 86 degrees on the night of July 12.
