Cows Escape, Roam Around Roxborough

A herd of cows escaped from the W.B. Saul High School of Agricultural Sciences early Saturday morning and roamed through Roxborough.

A SEPTA driver called in a report of four cows crossing the street on the 7100 block of Henry Avenue around 2 a.m.

Police were dispatched to the scene, but local residents were reportedly able to herd the cattle back inside the school’s fields.

It is unclear how they escaped.
