Alma de Cuba is helping diners work off eggs benedict calories with a weekly brunch dance party, kicking off this weekend. Brunch starts at 11 a.m. but don’t dawdle too long because every Saturday the restaurant’s three floors will turn into a daytime club at 1 p.m., with DJs spinning Top 40, hip-hop and R&B hits.
Local favorite DJ DeeJay will helm the turntables for the first brunch/dance combo.
Nosh on classics like French toast or a spinach and cheddar omelet, or stick with Alma de Cuba’s Latin theme and order a manchego quesadilla or a Cuban sandwich. And go ahead, prep yourself for the dancing with a bloody mary — or two.
