Philadelphia voters have until 11:59 p.m. on Monday to register to vote in the May 20 primary election.

Voters can register online, in person, or by mail. Visit vote.phila.gov/register for more information or pavoterservices.pa.gov to check your voter registration status.

In Philadelphia, voters will be deciding on the city’s next district attorney. With no Republican running in November, the fate of the office will likely be decided next month in the Democratic primary between incumbent Larry Krasner and former Municipal Court Judge Pat Dugan.

A number of statewide and local judicial seats will be on the ballot, and city residents will also be able to weigh in on multiple ballot questions.

“US President not being on the ballot should not be an excuse to skip this election,” said Philadelphia City Commissioners Vice-Chair Lisa Deeley. “There are offices, judges, DA, controller, on the ballot that will have as much or greater impact on you, your families, and neighbors’ everyday life.”

Mail ballots are now being printed, and will soon arrive in voters’ mailboxes. Voters have until 5 p.m. on Tuesday, May 13, to request a mail ballot. Mail ballot applications can be submitted online, by mail, or in person.

The Philadelphia County Board of Elections Office, located in City Hall, Room 140, will offer in-person mail ballot services. This office is open Monday through Friday, from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.

District Satellite Election Offices are also open across Philadelphia, and offer voter registration and in-person mail ballot services. Voters can register to vote, and apply for, complete, and return mail ballots at these locations. Offices are open Monday through Friday, from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., and 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Saturday and Sunday. A full list of Satellite Election Office locations is available at vote.phila.gov/seos.
