Deadly crash closes Black Horse Pike in South Jersey

Police were investigating a fatal two-vehicle crash in South Jersey on Friday morning.

The accident happened about 5:30 a.m. in the northbound lanes of the Black Horse Pike (Route 42) in Monroe Township, Gloucester County, near Berlin-Cross Keys Road, 6ABC Action News reports.

One person was killed in the accident, which reportedly involved two trucks.

A smaller truck rear-ended a flat-bed truck, according to the report.

Black Horse Pike’s northbound lanes were closed between Kettle Avenue and Berlin-Cross Keys Road due to the investigation.
