Delta Airlines apologized Saturday for not removing a passenger from a flight to Pennsylvania who had vocally declared his support for President-elect Donald Trump, and called others on the flight “Hillary Bitches.” “We are sorry to our customers who experienced this disruption,” Delta posted on its website Saturday, referring to a flight from Atlanta to Allentown. “We have followed up with the teams involved and all agree that this customer should not have been allowed to continue on the flight. Our responsibility for ensuring all customers feel safe and comfortable with Delta includes requiring civil behavior from everyone. The behavior we see in this video does not square with our training or culture and follow up will continue so we can better ensure our employees will know they will be fully supported to make the right decisions when these issues arise.” Emma Baum, a passenger aboard Flight 248, posted a 44-second video to social mediashowing a man standing in the aisle of the plane shouting, “Donald Trump, baby!”
Baum’s video, which has been viewed more than 2million times since she posted it Tuesday, shows the unnamed passenger yelling to passengers, “We got some Hillary bitches on here?”
He then goes on to say, “He’s your president, every goddamn one of you. If you don’t like it, too bad,”before sitting down.
Baum told local newspaper The Morning Call that the man was removed from the plane, but returned before the flight took off. There were no further outbursts, though he told Baum, who was seating next to him, “This is what I get for being a patriot,”
Didn’t take long to notice that I’m back in ‘Merica…
