Maybe the flurry of activity at Eagles camp has calmed DeSean Jackson. Or maybe he’s wondering where the heck the team is going to get the money to pay him.
Either way, 6ABC here in Philadelphia is reporting that Jackson is prepared to end his holdout. The star receiver is expected to arrive in Lehigh either Monday or Tuesday, per the report.
Of course, this report is coming from a TV station, so take it for what it’s worth.
Jackson hasn’t mentioned his contract situation or holdout via Twitter. However, he did take to social media to praise the Eagles for signing Nnamdi Asomugha.
Jackson wrote the following Friday via Twitter: CONGRATS TO MY BIG BRO 21 NNAMBI ASOMUGHA FOR BECOMING A EAGLE!! #CAL
Both men played their college ball at the University of California. Jackson had been heavily recruiting Asomugha to join the Eagles this offseason.
