The Greater Philadelphia Film Office recently presented the 3rd annual Philadelphia Storyteller Award to writer, director, producer, and native Philadelphian Lee Daniels. Daniel’s recent critically acclaimed work includes ‘The United States vs. Billie Holiday’ and ‘Concrete Cowboy’, the latter of which was filmed locally and conceptualized by Philadelphia’s own Neighborhood Film Company. Lee was presented with the award during a special VIP fundraiser hosted by Nancy Glass and Charles Lachman at their home on the Main Line.
