It’s been a little while since there was actual Eagles news to report.
So here’s a little football info to quench your NFL appetite; the Eagles officially have their slate of four opponents this preseason — with dates and times to be announced in the coming weeks.
They’ll open things at home, likely in mid August, against Jameis Winston and the Buccaneers.
Then back-to-back away games in Pittsburgh and Indianapolis, before returning home for their annual meaningless game against the Jets in preseason Week 4 (this because most teams sit the majority of their starters for the entire fourth preseason game).
Philadelphia will face just one of these teams in the regular season, the Steelers, as part of their interconferenceschedule against the AFC North. The Pittsburgh game will be in Philadelphia.
Philly also will face the NFC North, the Seahawks and the Falcons to round out their regular season opponent list.
