Eagles cheerleaders took turns posing in one of Philadelphia’s oldest attractions, Bartram’s Gardens, for photographs that will become part of their 21st century attraction: a smartphone application by the NFL called “Cheerleader Calendar Mobile App.”
The women were the first squad to have their photos taken for the new site.
“One of our core values at Bartram’s Gardens is that nature is a source of inspiration in our lives because nature is so beautiful,” the gardens’ executive director Louise Turan said yesterday during the photo shoot. “Certainly, looking at these girls, there’s no lack of inspiration.”
Turan said the gorgeous and colorful backdrop seemed perfect for the cheerleaders.
All 38 cheerleaders of the Eagles squad will be featured on the phone app, which will be unveiled late next month.
