The Philadelphia Eagles are headed to the Super Bowl for the second time in three years. After a dominating win over the Washington Commanders in the NFC Championship game, the Birds answered the call on Sunday and are now one game away from glory.
But before the Eagles fly to New Orleans to fight for their second-ever Lombardi Trophy, local fans have a chance to make a “Bird Call” by leaving voicemails for their favorite player.
Fans will find vintage rotary phones scattered throughout the city on Monday and Tuesday (Jan. 27 and 28), including Dilworth Park, Mayfair Diner, Pat’s King of Steaks, Temple University’s Student Center, and the University of Pennsylvania Campus Bookstore.

The complete breakdown of times and locations include:
- Dilworth Park: 1 S. 15th St., from 10:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.
- Mayfair Diner: 7373 Frankford Ave., from 11:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.
- Pat’s King of Steaks: 1237 E. Passyunk Ave., from 10:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.
- Temple University’s Student Center: 1755 N. 13th St., from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m.
- University of Pennsylvania’s Campus Bookstore: 3601 Walnut St., from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.
Fans can also participate remotely, even across the country, by dialing 267-352-4496 any time leading up to the day of the Big Game. A roving phone will also travel throughout Center City, so keep an eye out for a chance to make a Bird Call.
