This time of the season, it is not unusual for NFL teams to be pretty bruised and battered. The Eagles however, have stayed relatively healthy and look to be headed into Saturday’s Wild Card battle with the Saints near full strength.
Back up center Julian Vandervelde sat out practice for the second straight day Thursday with back issues, but after missing Wednesday, safety Earl Wolff returned and will likely be back Saturday for the primetime match up.
Wolff said he “felt good, ” and his knee is nothing that will hold him back.
The Eagles need help in the secondary and Wolff’s availability will be an asset defending against New Orleans’ full arsenal of receivers.
Other players on the injury report practiced Thursday as well, including Jason Avant, Brandon Boykin and Mychal Kendricks. All are expected to play come kickoff.
