Eagles Notebook: Mike Vick not ‘soft’ (video)

So, yes, even the Joe Paterno nightmare is making an impact in the Eagles’ locker room. For more on that, check out our print edition.

As for today’s Eagles news … not much to talk about. Dominique Rodgers-Cromartie talked about playing against his former team — and about not being suited for the nickel corner position.

Meanwhile, King Dunlap expects to start Sunday, with starting left guard Evan Mathis (turf toe) sidelined. Safety Nate Allen (concussion) also appears doubtful. The Eagles will most likely turn to former starter Jarrad Page, who was inactive against the Bears, or rookie Jaiquawn Jarrett. Our bet is on Jarrett.

Mike Vick took offense to reporters asking him if this Eagles team was emotionally soft. Credit Daily News scribe Les Bowen for throwing that fastball at Vick. It comes at the very end of the quarterback’s session with reporters Wednesday morning. The video is below …
