Eagles Notebook: Training camp opens July 22

The Eagles announced their training camp dates Thursday, along with the schedule for rookie minicamps and full-team OTAs.

Andy Reid will open his 14th training camp — the 17th overall at Lehigh University — on July 22 when rookies, quarterbacks and injured players report. The first official practices are set for July 23 and July 24. Veterans are due at camp on July 25 and the first full-squad practice is July 26. Reid and the Eagles will break camp on Aug. 15.

Before they get to Lehigh, the Eagles will hold a rookie minicamp (May 12-14) and then full-team OTAs (May 22-24, May 30-June 1, June 4-7). There is also a full-team minicamp (June 12-14).

Get ready, folks, it’s time for football action!
