Eagles safety Rodney McLeod and his wife Erika McLeod hosted Sneaker Ball 2021, their inaugural fundraiser on Monday at the Arts Ballroom, where guests wore their finest kicks to complete their outfits. The Art & Sole: Sneaker Ball Toy Drive benefits their Change Our Future Foundation, which is dedicated to empowering youth through education, advocacy, and awareness.
The fund-raising gala was attended by several of McLeod’s teammates including Avonte Maddox, Miles Sanders, Derrick Barnett, Jordan Mailata, musicians DJ Aktive, Chill Moody, state Sen. Anthony H. Williams and wife Shari, as well as Fox 29’s Alex Holley and Mike Jerrick. There was a silent auction consisting of sports memorabilia, as well as signed sneakers by celebrities.
