A man is dead after a shooting last night in East Mount Airy.
Chad Barnette, 31, of the 1500 block of East Cardenzia Street, was taken to Einstein Hospital by private auto shortly before 11:25 p.m. He was suffering from gunshot wounds to his arm and torso.
Barnette died of his injuries at 12:13 a.m.
Police say the motive was robbery and the incident is believed to have occurred on the block where Barnette lived.
No arrests have yet been made.
