Emergency. Frankford fire Sunday – Two-alarm blaze guts brick building

Smoke from a blaze at a two-story former apartment building next to the Frankford Post Office in the 4400 block of Paul Street could be seen a couple of miles away on Interstate 95 shortly after noon yesterday. No one was injured in the blaze, and officials were still trying to determine a cause for the fire. Another fire recently destroyed a row of homes nearby. No damage was done to the post office, which was buffered from the blaze by a parking lot.
