Employee shot at North Philadelphia ShopRite

A 23-year-old man was shot multiple times late Monday night at a ShopRite on East Olney Avenue in North Philadelphia.

The man, a Shoprite employee, suffered multiple gunshot wounds to his stomach, left hand, and left arm. He is currently in critical condition.

Police secured the scene, and a 30-year-old man is in custody. A weapon has been recovered, and two 9mm casings have also been recovered from the scene, according to police.
