UPDATE: We were told by the PR that these were two separate events. Turns out, in order to enjoy the “free” beer sampling, you need to purchase the $45 meal.
On Tuesday, April 24, Brewery ARS is hosting a tap takeover at East Passyunk’s Brigantessa from 6 p.m. to 7 p.m.
Guests can pop in for “free” beer tastings (for those who register for the $45 meal discussed below) as the neighboring brewery takes over three of Brigantessa’s 16 taps.
There will also be Brewery ARS representatives on site to educate consumers about their brewing philosophy and methods.
“We love Brewery ARS’s unpretentious, passionate and artisanal approach,” says Francis Cratil Cretarola of Brigantessa. “From labeling themselves a ‘Garage Brewery,’ in part because of the space they occupy, to the relaxed vibe of their place, from their commitment to fresh and seasonal ingredients to the desire to clear new paths, they are a neighbor we want to support.”
After the “free” beer tastings session, guests can enjoy the special meal they paid for, which costs $45 per person. Beer during the meal is extra.
