Family and friends continued their search yesterday for missing Temple University graduate Roswell Friend five days after his disappearance.
Friend was last seen Thursday around 7:30 p.m. when he went running and did not return, police said. He left his car keys, his wallet and his cell phone at home. His family reported him missing after he did not show up for a job interview last Friday.
Friend, a graduate of the School of Communications and Theater, was a member of the track and field team. Loved ones described the 22-year-old Maryland native as a kind person who was always smiling. A Facebook group called Searching for Roswell Friend had 391 members yesterday. Members were working to organize search efforts.
“Don’t give up hope, We love and miss you Roswell,” the page’s description says. “Come home soon.”
