The Philadelphia Eagles dominated the Washington Commanders, 55-23, in the NFC Championship on Sunday night, and punched their ticket to Super Bowl LIX.
Shortly after, local fans celebrated as only Philly can.
Thousands of Philly faithful flocked to Broad Street, South Philly, and the intersection of Frankford and Cottman, among many other sites throughout the city to celebrate their beloved Birds. Within minutes of Philadelphia’s stunning victory, fans were popping champagne, setting off fireworks, and yes, climbing greased poles.
