Seaview Hotel and Golf Club

If you’re looking for food and activities to celebrate your dad this Sunday, South Jersey’s Seaview Hotel and Golf Club is offering a multi-stationed brunch (from 11:30 a.m. to 3 p.m.), and while there, families can also take a swing at either of the venue’s two golf courses.

As a release notes, in addition to the courses, Seaview also boasts an award-winning pro golf shop, which offers exclusive, premier and specialty golf accessories and equipment, such as top name clubs, balls, shoes, apparel and more. This shop is also an eight-time winner of ‘Golf World’ magazine’s “Best 100 Golf Shops in America,”  and ranked in the Top 100 Platinum Golf Shops by Association of Golf Merchandisers three years in a row.

Brooklyn Bowl

This Sunday, locals can celebrate Father’s Day in Philadelphia with a special concert series hosted at the Brooklyn Bowl. The Rock and Roll Playhouse is a monthly family event at the venue and on June 16, the series will put on “A Grateful Dad” experience with music from the Grateful Dead by Lovelight.

As the release describes, performing songs created by the band, The Rock and Roll Playhouse musicians offer its core audience of families with children ages 10 and under games, movement, stories and an opportunity to “rock out.” This special Father’s Day event will take place at noon, and tickets ($17+) are available online.

Bear Creek Mountain Resort 

This Sunday, Bear Creek Mountain Resort will be hosting its Dadapalooza and Car Show from noon to 5 p.m. Taking over most of the surrounding lots of the resort, the show features unique cars competing for best of show, best paint design, oldest car, most original, best interior, best engine, and people’s choice.

Food (consisting of BBQ Baby Back Ribs, Smoked Chicken Breast, and Smoked Hickory-Pulled BBQ Turkey with baked beans, and a Martin’s sweet roll) will be served, and live music will also be on site. All dads in attendance can also participate in free Archery Target Shooting, plus check out lawn games and other activities for the whole family.

As a release notes, Bear Creek Mountain Resort is also offering a Sunday night Father’s Day Special with a late checkout on Monday for $109 which allows guests to stay and enjoy the resort’s pool and activities late into Monday, June 17.

Rex at the Royal

Rex at the Royal will be offering specialty flights and special offerings from their bottle shop for Father’s Day in Philadelphia. Flights include a mimosa option ($15 with pear ginger, blood orange and kumquat water ice), and an Old Fashioned flight ($18 Old Grand Dad Bottled in Bond, Eigashima Akashi Ume, and Sojourner Barrell Select #2.)
