Families and friends can head to Urban Farmer on Sunday for both brunch and dinner to celebrate the occasion. First, from 7 a.m. to 2 p.m., specials like Crab Deviled Eggs and Piedmontese Steak and Eggs will be served. Then, for dinner service (4 to 10 p.m.) specials will span a 24 oz pasture-raised Porterhouse, a Potato Galette with horseradish sour cream and tomato compote, a Dry Aged Burger and a Bourbon Budino to finish off on a sweet note with dulce de leche, chocolate pretzel brittle, and vanilla chantilly.

Fathers can enjoy beverage specials as well, such as the Dad Fuel (Tullamore Dew, Borghetti Liqueur, and orange bitters), and The OG, which features a pour of Love City Lager and a shot of Tullamore Dew. Both are available during brunch and dinner.

Those looking to celebrate Father’s Day in Philadelphia can head to Bolo on June 15 to indulge in a Suckling Pig Dinner. For $65 per person, the family-style feast includes a slow-roasted lechón (marinated with achiote, oregano, garlic, and sour orange) served with a first course of verde salsa, plus, rice, gandules bean stew, maduros, and mofongo.

VIVA Padel and Pickleball

There’s a ton of fun planned for Father’s Day in Philadelphia at VIVA. The sports club will be offering a Father’s Drill & Play (aka an open pickleball clinic and round robin) from 9:30 to 11 a.m., and then a Kid’s Drill & Play from 11 a.m. to noon. There will also be a Pickleball Father’s Day Open Play from noon to 2 p.m. and a Padel Father’s Open Play from noon to 2 p.m. at the venue on June 15.

All events are open to members and non-members alike, and are beginner-friendly. Advance registration to reserve a spot is required and can be made online.

Those looking to celebrate Father’s Day in Philadelphia in a fresh way can opt for a City Cruises experience this Sunday. Those looking to commemorate the occasion can take the drive to Bear Creek Mountain for the annual Dadapalooza and Car Show. Taking place June 15 from noon to 4 p.m., the occasion will feature food trucks (including Pretzel Revolution, Taco Town, and Spuds), live music, free archery target shooting, lawn games and more. Car owners who want to display their vehicle are encouraged to register in advance online for $15 or onsite the day of the event for $25.

As a release notes, Bear Creek Mountain Resort is also offering a Sunday night Father’s Day Special with a late checkout on Monday (June 16) for $109. Additionally, guests purchasing this Father’s Day Special receive a 20-percent discount on dinner at the Trail’s End Café or The Grille, and at the Mountain Activity Center.
