Who makes the best hot dog in Philly? Find out Saturday at the fourth annual Dog Days of Summer Cook-Off, under the Headhouse Square Shambles at Second and Pine.
Local restaurants and chefs will be grilling up their best, most inventive hot dog creations, to be evaluated by a panel of judges — and by the public. That’s you, hot dog lover. Tickets are four for $10; food is one ticket and beer, from Victory Brewing Company and The Boston Beer Company, costs two tickets.
In addition to the dogs and brews, there will be live music from Swift Technique.
Beat the crowds with a VIP ticket for $30.You’ll get in an hour early and get 20 food/drink tickets. We don’t, however, recommend eating 20 hot dogs, at least not in one afternoon. Proceeds go to the preservation of the Headhouse Square Shambles.
