Five big projects that are changing the face of Philly

From Fishtown to the Navy Yard, and from Center City to University City, Philly is in the midst of a building boom.

Fueled by an influx of city-loving Millennials and culturally minded empty nesters, big construction projects now underway in the city include Comcast’s massive new Innovation and Technology tower (soon to be the eighth largest building in the country), the East Market residential, retail and office complex between 11th and 12th on Market, new office and lab spaces at the Navy Yard, a near-doubling of the University City Science Center footprint in West Philly, and an abandoned factory being transformed into a new live-music venue in Fishtown.

Find out exactly how these new projects will be changing the way you will live, work and play how soon, at City Paper.
