We could all use a bit of sweet relief during these times, and to help with that, five local businesses have partnered up with the cookie connoisseurs, Insomnia Cookies, to provide a deal that is both tasty and free.
Insomnia recently announced a brand-new incentive where they will partner with local restaurants and small businesses to join forces during this time of crisis for the restaurant industry. In the City of Brotherly Love, Insomnia has partnered with Quick Sip Beer Delivery (by Hawthorne’s Beer Cafe), SliCE Fishtown, P’unk Burger and Dim Sum House University City to supply free cookies with delivery orders. The delicious deal began to run yesterday and will be available for the first 25 orders a day for each partner over the course of the next few weeks (availability varies on establishment.)

We all know cookies go with milk, but what about with alcohol? When you order through Quick Sip this week, you may discover your new favorite combo. Quick Sip is backed by Hawthorne’s Beer Cafe, The Cambridge, Wine Dive and Tio Flores, and the service provides an assortment of options for beer, wine and champagne delivery right to your door—including Evil Genius’ new ‘Tiger King’ inspired brew that debuted last week. This popular establishment not only offers delectable menu choices and Trenton Style pizza, but also organic, gluten-free and vegan options as well—so there truly can be something for everyone. Plus SliCE recently started offering DIY pizza kits as well, so you can spend your night crafting your own dinner and then finish it off with a sweet dessert to really make your evening memorable. Dim Sum House in University City will also be jumping on this sweet promotion starting May 5 and running through May 10. P’unk Burger will begin its partnership with Insomnia Cookies next month. The East Passyunk hotspot already offers their own sweet treats along with their assortment of burgers, fries and sides, but pairing cookies with one of their decadent milkshakes options couldn’t hurt. Go big or go home, right? For those who don’t completely want a sugar fix however, P’unk also offers an array of healthier options and tasty salads as well. According to the release, patrons of all four businesses will also drop a free sweet surprise with the cookies in each order including discounts on future orders. Discounts and surprises will vary by each business.
