FCM Hospitality
Cocktails for a Cause is back, and all of FCM Hospitality’s venues will offer a drink representing a different color of the all-inclusive Pride rainbow flag in support of the William Way LGBT Community Center and the Attic Youth Center. Starting May 30 and lasting all of Pride Month, this annual initiative will donate $1 from each cocktail sold, and then FCM Hospitality will compile donations from all venues and equally divide them between the organizations once June is over.
The Attic Youth Center’s mission is to create opportunities for Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender, Queer, and Questioning (LGBTQ) youth and to promote the acceptance of LGBTQ youth in society, a release notes. While The William Way LGBT Community Center seeks to engage and support the diverse LGBTQIA+ communities in the Greater Philadelphia area through arts, culture, empowerment, and community connections.
To join in and support the cause, Philadelphians can visit all of FCM’s participating locations to try each drink including Walnut Garden and Parks on Tap for a red Hibiscus Lemonade, Craft Hall for an orange Mango Margarita, Juno for a yellow Peach Sangria, Concourse Dance Bar for a green “Ecto Cooler”, Dolphin Tavern for a blue “Out to Sea” sipper, Lucy’s for a purple “Transfusion”, Liberty Beer Garden for a white “Rocket Pop”, Liberty Point and Morgan’s Pier for a pink “American Peach”, Lola’s Garden for a teal Coconut Mojito, Rosy’s Taco Bar (plus Rosy’s East) and Club 624 for a black Margarita Negra, and Harper’s Garden for a brown “Rise and Shine.”
“We are committed to lifting our city’s Pride Month celebration, and using our community to fight for acceptance and equality. This annual tradition allows us to convey that our restaurants, clubs and cocktail gardens are safe and inclusive spaces,” says FCM Hospitality CEO Avram Hornik. “No matter where you are or how you identify, the rainbow colors are meant to signify that you are included, welcome, and safe as part of the LGBTQIA+ community at FCM establishments.”
