Flyers kick the Hab-it

Flyers 6, Canadiens 0

Game 2, tomorrow, 7 p.m. (VS.) at the Wach

1. Pipe dreams — Montreal is 5-0 when Jaroslav Halak stops 35 or more pucks in a game (and 0-5 when he stops less than 31). Guess what happened? Halak had just nine saves on 13 shots and called it a night in the second.

2. Simon says win — Remember when Simon Gagne was a nonfactor? Since returning from injury, Gagne has potted five goals, including a pair of game-winners.

3. Worth watching — Scott Gomez against Chris Pronger. If Game 1 was any indication, the two will be spending considerable time in the sin bin, and their tug-of-war will be a series’ signature.
