Flyers walk away with 3-2 victory

The Flyers rebounded from last week’s 2-1 overtime loss to Tampa Bay with a 3-2 win last night over the Florida Panthers.

Danny Briere, Braydon Coburn and Matt Read lit the lamp for the Orange and Black, while Ilya Bryzgalov stopped 31 shots to record his fourth win in his last five starts.

“Whatever way it is, we’ll take the win,” team captain Chris Pronger said.

The eventual game-winning goal came off the stick of Read, who scored on a short-handed penalty shot to give the Flyers a 3-1 lead. Briere’s goal came with 3:50 left in the first period, with Coburn

redirecting a pass from Jakub Voracek at the 6:10 mark of the second.
