Philadelphia police are investigating a violent home invasion robbery that targeted four Temple University students.
Three men followed a female Temple student home last night some time after 7 p.m. and forced her inside her off campus apartment on the 1800 block of North 18th Street, according to an advisory released last night by Temple Police.
The men then reportedly bound the woman and her three roommates and duct taped their mouths. The suspects allegedly robbed the women of various personal items and fled. No injuries were reported.
Campus security is urging Temple students to use caution when in the area and to take advantage of University security escorts and transportation services when walking at night.
Anyone with information about the crime is asked to call 911, contact Philadelphia police at 215-686-3093 or to submit an anonymous tip by dialing 215-686-TIPS (8477), texting PPD TIP (773847), emailing tips@phillypolice.com or by filling out this online form.
