Police are investigating the deadly shooting of a 4-year-old boy inside a home.
Around 4:30 p.m., police responded to the 600 block of East Clementine Street, where the boy had been shot once in the head. He was taken to St. Christopher’s Hospital for Children where he was declared dead around 5 o’clock.
Authorities have not released details about how the shooting occured. The incident has not been ruled a homicide, and no arrests have been made. Police have not released the child’s name.
This is the third time a toddler has been shot in Kensington in recent months. Earlier this month, a 2-year-old girl was wounded along with two men on Ann Street near Amber while playing in a backyard pool. In May, a 1-year-old was shot, but survived.
