Sisterly Love Food Fair
In celebration of Women’s History Month, the Sisterly Love Citywide Food Fair has announced four more dates and locations for their pop-up foodie event. The Food Fair is a women-led initiative to promote Philadelphia-based and female-run hospitality businesses affected by the pandemic by the way of traveling food markets—and now Philadelphians have plenty of opportunities this month to check it out. On Saturday, March 6, the Sisterly Love Citywide Food Fair is heading to the Main Line and Philadelphia suburbs for the very first time with a pop-up this Saturday in Downtown Ardmore. Ardmore Initiative and Restaurant Marokko will be hosting dozens of local and regional vendors on March 6, from noon to 2 p.m., in the Schauffele Plaza. Ardmore Music Hall will also be providing entertainment for the day, playing music from their archives as a bonus for shoppers.

Jacqueline City’s 2 Years of Authenticity Event
This event from South Philly designer Jacqueline City celebrates two years of the Jacqueline City Apparel brand, and will introduce the new collection and campaign as well as reflect on the past 24 months. The event will include a virtual runway show, motivational speeches by multiple speakers, giveaways, and a Q+A with City herself. Each ticket comes with a magazine catalog that will house all of the inspirational stories and materials mentioned through the campaign. City hopes to make JCA much more than a fashion brand, but a movement of inclusivity and authenticity. Philadelphians can tune into the event this Friday, March 5, at 7 p.m.
Shawnee Mountain’s Bigfoot Snowshoe Race
Shawnee Mountain will host their first-ever Bigfoot Snowshoe Race this weekend, and everyone is invited to get outdoors, grab their snowshoes and race to the top of the mountains, all for a good cause. For this particular event, Shawnee will be donating all proceeds to the 1% for Nature organization. And how does the race work exactly? According to the release, racers will stay on one trail, which will be closed for the duration of the race. Registration begins at 8:30 a.m. at the Trepp Lodge and the race will begin at 9 a.m. at the base area and finish at the summit. Participants will walk back down the same way you go up. 1st, 2nd and 3rd Place prizes will be awarded, featuring top of the line snow sports gear and accessories and will be waiting at the base for the winners.
