Nina’s Waffles & Ice Cream
If you’re looking for a sweet treat this weekend to really ring in the start of the summer season, you’re in luck. Nina’s Waffles & Ice Cream will be opening its new location this Friday, June 5 in New Hope along with the company’s Doylestown, Newtown and Peddler’s Village locations. The shops will be opening their doors at 1 p.m. and will offer all of their usual favorite menu items including their classic Liege waffles, waffle bites with a wide variety of Nina’s own toppings and pints of house-made ice cream (flavor-wise think Sea Salt Caramel, Madagascar Vanilla, Double Espresso Crunch, Chocolate Chocolate, Berry Berry, and “Mad Crack,” which features saltine toffee blended into pure bourbon vanilla ice cream.) If you wish to still keep a bit of distance however, catering and online shopping are also available.

Live! – KOP Town Center’s Live Music Programming
If you miss the feeling of a live performance, King of Prussia’s Town Center can help you out on that front. According to a release, rather than cancel May’s Live! Performances, the Town Center decided to adapt the format to live steam artists on the KOP Town Center via the Facebook page to continue that same sense of togetherness — just in a way that fits this temporary “new normal.” Performances will be hosted every Friday from 6 – 8 p.m. on the KOP Town Center’s Facebook page with this Friday’s performance featuring the Tim William’s Band.
Gabi
If you’re looking to toast the weekend with a tasty libation, French-styled hotspot Gabi has just what you need. The popular eatery will be offering remixed and batched quarts or individual 6 oz. cocktails ready to drink to-go that range from $8-$40 depending on size. Choices include the Cucumber Basil Gimlet (made with Faber gin, cucumber puree, basil syrup and lemon juice), the Summer Thyme (made with strawberry and thyme puree, lemon juice, simple syrup and Faber vodka), the Classic or Blood Orange Margarita (made with Faber tequila, lime juice, triple sec), the Blackberry Mint Cooler (made with blackberry puree, Faber gin, mint syrup and lemon juice), a Bloody Mary (made with spicy house-made mix and Faber vodka) and Red Sangria (made with cabernet, brandy, OJ and triple sec). Philadelphians can also indulge in Gabi’s tasty menu selection as well. The eatery will be open for take-out and delivery Wednesdays through Sundays.
