Gaul & Co. Malt House is your summer seafood destination in the city

It wouldn’t be summer without a taste of the season, and at Gaul & Co. Malt House, Philadelphians can indulge in Seafood Night, available every Wednesday from 4 p.m. to midnight through Labor Day—and now there are newly added all-you-can-eat-specials being offered at the Port Richmond and Rockledge locations on Wednesdays from 4 to 9 p.m., Saturdays from 2 to 9 p.m., and Sundays from 2 to 9 p.m.

For the weekly Seafood Night specifically, visitors can indulge in freshly harvested oysters for $1 per mollusk, and two pounds of snow crab legs for $35 per serving (with lemon and butter on the side), and the evening will also feature a rotating variety of dishes as well (think plates made with oysters, clams, crab cakes, mussels and more.)

“Seafood Night is an opportunity for folks to get that down-the-shore feeling without dealing with hours of bumper-to-bumper traffic,” said Gaul & Co. Malt House co-owner Matthew Yeck in a statement. “We have good food, good vibes, and all the buck-a-shuck oysters you can handle.”

As a release states, the relaunch of Seafood Night and the all-you-can-eat options is just one of Gaul & Co. Malt House’s weekly specials, however. Their suite of daily and weekly programming, available at both the Port Richmond and Rockledge locations —the latter location also currently has a residency by Philadelphia-based Chef John Hunt — includes a wide variety of options to try.

Mondays will hold $6 lunch specials, $3 kids menu items, margarita Mondays and their Tacos Before Tuesday promotion which features $2 beef taco Americanos, a Taco of the Week (aka a rotating lineup of carnitas, shrimp, and fish), and chips with guacamole (note the taco menu is only available in house but can be ordered to-go.)

Tuesdays will feature $6 lunch specials and quizzo, hosted by Chris Lyons in Port Richmond and by Bill Donahue in Rockledge with $8 pitchers of Gaul Lite beer being offered during the event. Wednesdays will also feature the $6 lunch specials and the Seafood Nights mentioned above, while Thursdays will have the same lunch special as the previous days (for $6), plus a late-night happy hour that includes $3 Green Tea shots, $3 Gaul Tea Lite, $4 Sea Isle Teas, $5 cheeseburgers, $6 chicken quesadillas, $7 Kielbasadilla’s, and $8 chicken cheesesteaks (10 p.m. to 1 a.m., drink specials end at midnight).

Friday and Saturday will both feature a late-night happy hour as well (and the $6 lunch special for Friday), but Saturday will also hold an Early Bird Special of $4 Mimosas and $5 Blood Marys (9 a.m. to noon during brunch service.)

Both locations also offer a regular Happy Hour, available Monday through Friday from 4 to 6 p.m. featuring a few different food and drink items with highlights including $5 craft drafts, and $6 select appetizers.

These promotions will run throughout the rest of the summer.
