If you’ve booked a table at a celebrity chef’s restaurant, it’s unlikely you’ll see him in a poufy hat and white apron working the line. Not so at Sbraga on the Avenue of the Arts: Just snag a reservation at the Chef’s Counter, then sit back and watch “Top Chef” winner Kevin Sbraga whip you up plate after delicious plate.

This month the Chef’s Counter is offering a Nordic Cuisine tasting menu inspired by Sbraga’s recent trip to Norway with the Norwegian Seafood Council. He’s on the council’s new Chef’s Culinary Board, which means he knows his fish.

The Nordic treats are available Monday to Thursday through Aug. 29. For $75 you’ll be served six courses, including Norwegian salmon with capers, egg yolk, black bread and horseradish; spend another $50 to get the beverage pairing.
